For better or worse, the majority of the content we generate today is stored digitally. Whether it is a photograph, piece of music, written story, video, or any other type of creative thing that we want to hold on to, odds are that it is a digital file.

Unfortunately, hard drives fill up, and sometimes crash. Phones get dropped in puddles. Files we want get lost in the crowd of a storage medium filled with millions of other files.

And so we need an inexpensive, easy to use, reliable method for creating archives of our work. In this video, we make the case for creating a digital archive, then examine the pros and cons of a number of different methods. We then discuss the method I chose, and show how to create a digital archive of your own for less than $200.
