This chapter is made up of two sections; the desert and the windmill caverns. There are specific tasks is each section which gives a trophy. I will explain how to do them both. You will also be introduced to the main hub which you will see after finishing each chapter. The hub connects to all of the worlds in the game. Each time you cross the fountain, the constellation pieces you find in each chapter will go up into the sky. That constellation leads to the final scene in the game. It will be filled out more and more each time a chapter is completed. That's all that needs to be said about that.

As you explore the hub, you will notice some drawings on the walls. The drawings represent a specific chapter and small circles beneath them represent the mementos that can be found. The Red Chapter has seven of them and I will show how to get each one. Head to the bottom right and the you enter this world. It starts with a long slide, then you will see the "Gris" introduction scene. After that is where the real fun begins.

As you jump from the cliff, you will fall down into a large desolate landscape. This is the desert (4:07). The first four mementos of this chapter are here as well as the specific task task trophy. As you go through the desert, you will encounter a sandstorm that appears roughly every 20 seconds. As you get towards the end of the desert, you will gain your first new power which is the box form. Box form acts like a big weight so you can use it to resist being blown by wind and can crush breakable floors when you jump.

Memento 2 (4:07): After seeing the Gris title intro, jump from the cliff and go left as soon as you land. It will be inside a large rock with a circular shaped opening. Once you have it, head to the right.

Sandstorm trophy (5:04): This is the first of two specific task trophies in this chapter. As soon as you go pass the rock hill and hear the music, the task for this trophy begins. Keep going right and do not stop until you reach the shelter. Roughly every 20 seconds a sandstorm will come and cover everything in red. The goal for this trophy is to avoid being caught by the storm. If you're caught and get blown backwards, you'll have to redo the whole desert section again for another shot at the trophy. You need to reach each shelter before the storm appears. Toward the end of the desert where you get box form, there will be a part will no shelter (12:25). You will need to use box form and move through the storm. This is the only part of the trophy where the storm will hit you but as long as you're in this form, you will not get blown away. Once you make it inside the red temple you should get the trophy.

Memento 3 (8:55): When you reach the giant red rock that's shaped like a walnut, a spider-like creature below will start moving it. Inside this rock, you must run up the stairs until you reach the top right area. When you reach that area, drop down and you will slide into it. There's only a limited time to get it. Once the rock is brought to the platform, it will be blocked.

Memento 4 (11:09): Once you have box form, go back left where the previous shelter was. Jump and use box form to break through the cracked ceiling. Once you have it, head back right.

Memento 5 (13:27): When you reach the temple, go all the way to the right. Ignore the cracked floor under the large bell for now. There will be another outside area in the desert. Jump on the metal structures and make your way to the top. When you reach the highest point on the center structure, let the storm blow you away. You will get it once you're blown onto the platform to the left. This is the only way to get it. Don't worry, this won't affect the sandstorm trophy because it occurs before you reach the temple. You should already have it.

Anger trophy (15:18): Inside the temple, break through the floor under the large bell. It takes a few box crushes to break. Do it again when you drop to the next room. When you go down further, you will end up in a black and white room. There are three breakable statues that you must destroy with box crush. When you destroy them, you will get the trophy.

The second half of this chapter is the windmill caverns. The other three mementos will be here as well as another specific task trophy (stone piles).

Inuksuit trophy (18:50): In the windmill caverns, there are 14 stone piles you must crush. They're small stacks of rocks that will make a sound when walk pass them. Break them all and you will get the trophy.

Memento 6 (21:00): It's at the top of the large metal antenna structure. Go up the left and ride windmill up to reach it.

Memento 7 (23:10): Jump to the right from big rock and the fan platform will bring you to it.

Memento 8 (27:05): Use box form the bring the balloon down, then quickly go up the stairs and jump on the platform above the rock. You must reach it before the balloon raises it too high. Go across the floating rocks to the left and you should have it.
