Is Home Made Laundry Soap Really Any Good? Cheaper, Cleaner, Easy! Make Your Own!

Описание к видео Is Home Made Laundry Soap Really Any Good? Cheaper, Cleaner, Easy! Make Your Own!

Whether you're a prepper, a homesteader, or just a cost conscious household who hates to waste money on chemical-laden, exhorbitantly priced cleaning supplies - you can save a pile of money on this simple, effective diy laundry detergent that you can make at home for just pennies a bottle.

When I first mentioned this idea to my wife, she was not excited. Really not excited. She's the one who expects her laundry to come out clean every time, to smell clean every time, to keep the whites white and the colors bright. She will brook no amount of fading, or black T-shirts becoming gray. In short, she is a laundry hard-liner. Even bringing home the number 2 brand from the store instead of number one would get me the look...you know, the LOOK.

But she absolutely LOVES this stuff. Nuff said?

OK, so if you missed the recipe in the video, here it is again. And remember, a recipe is not law - it is a starting point, so feel free to adjust it wherever you'd like.
Here it is: One (1) bar of Zote laundry soap - pink or white. 12-16 ounces by measure, not weight) of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda. (NOT baking soda). 12-16 ounces of 20 Mule Team Borax (or the equivalent). 5-10 gallons of water and a bucket or 2 to mix and store it in. That's it!
