This video discuss about the benefits of Polpala - Aerva. Aerva lanata is the botanical name and the plant belongs to tropical Africa. It spread in India, Malaysia, Java Islands, Sumatra and Sri Lanka as well.

Polpala plant is about 60-75 centimeters high and grows as a single plant with 10-50 branches. Leaves are about 1.5-3.5 cm long and 1-1.5 cm width. Flowers are little bit of greeny white small and aggregate. Flowering all over the year.

In some countries this plant is cultivated commercially. In Sri Lanka we use this as a green extract, curry or herbal tea.
