Managing 60 cycle hum with NO COMPROMISES to your tone!

Описание к видео Managing 60 cycle hum with NO COMPROMISES to your tone!

I like real single coils–whether I'm playing a Strat or a Tele or a Jazzmaster or P90 Les Paul or a Coodercaster or a Danelectro with lipstick pickups or a funky old Supro etc. I don't use noiseless or stacked pickups. Having tried a lot of them over the years, I just don't think that they sound quite like the real thing. It seems that there is always a compromise to my tone. So I stick with true single coils in my guitars. That means I deal with 60-cycle hum a LOT in the studio. Here are a few brief pointers for managing that noise in the studio and in a live context.
