Sewa Kunj, Vrindavan - Darshan, History and Divine Pastimes.

Location:
Sewa Kunj is called Nikunj Van. It is located near the temple Shri Radha Damodar, to the south-west in Vrindavan District Mathura, State Uttar Pradesh and Country India. It is very sacred place.

History:
Sewa Kunj was discovered by Shri Hitharivansh Mahaprabhu in Year 1590. Shri Harivansh Mahaprabhu is considered as an avatar of Shri Krishna’s Flute and hence considered as God himself. His preaching of Radha Krishna being Ek Pran Dou Deh -One Soul Two Bodies.

This is the sacred place of Radharani. Radha Krishn is seated in the middle with Lalita Sakhi (on left) and Vishakha sakhi (on right). This is known as Sewa Kunj because Shri Krishn did sewa (service) of Radharani by massaging her feet here when she became fatigued during the Raas Dance pastimes. This is also Bhajana place of Shri Hita Harivansh Mahaprabhu, descension of Shri Krishn’s Flute.

At Nidhivan, Shri Krishn did Shringar (decoration) of Radharani with his own hands. After the decoration of Radharani, He takes her here at Sewa kunj in his shoulders. If she will walk then she would get tired and won’t be able to perform Raas here. That’s why Shri Krishn takes Radharani on his shoulders because She has to perform Raas at Sewakunj. Here Radha Krishn sits on a throne and Radharani gives Flute to Shri Krishn, and He sings "Radhey" name in his flute and all the Trees are converted to Gopis. Shri Krishn accompanies each Gopi. There is a Kund here known as Lalita Kund which is believed to have been constructed by the flute of Lord Krishna to quench the thirst of Lalita Devi during Raas Leela.

Shri Hita Harivansh Mahaprabhu has performed Bhajana here and He was an incarnation of Shri Krishn's flute and He took Radha Vallabh Lal Ji to here.
