Shohei Ohtani just signed the richest contract in MLB History, like by a lot, and that made me curious about which of the other largest contracts have worked in their teams favor, and which ones should’ve never been signed. Now a lot of these contracts are fairly recent so I will have to predict what the outcome is going to be rather than the current outcome. The 2023 MLB Playoffs or Postseason is headed to the WORLD SERIES, but instead of looking ahead to those teams, lets look back at some of the teams that have failed along the way, and not just in 2023, lets look back at MLB History to find out which teams are the biggest choking teams in MLB History. Teams like the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers make the postseason almost every season, however, they almost always get eliminated. However the team that had the cheating scandal the Houston Astros, although they may be cheaters, they certainly are good at winning games in the playoffs. However this year the Diamondbacks are in the World Series as they beat Bryce Harper and The Philadelphia Phillies.
