Описание к видео Practice I: Biological and environmental data for Species Distribution Modelling

This is the third part of a training course on Species Distribution Modelling (also called Ecological Niche Modelling) taught by Richard Pearson at University College London in November 2014. The talk describes some of the main sources of biological and environmental data commonly used in Species Distribution Modelling and discusses the use of absence data, the number of occurrence records required, and data biases. Funding was provided by NERC (the UK Natural Environment Research Council).
