Flash is a game which portends the future brilliance of Steve Ritchie. He pushed the boundaries of what was possible back in the late '70s when he went to work for a "real" pinball company. For its time, Flash was quite the player. But when compared to those games that came out shortly afterwards, you realize that Flash was just a warm-up for Mr. Ritchie.

As one of the first Steve Ritchie games, you can see where future games got their inspiration. I lOVE this game, and while it is somewhat simple by todays production standards, it is a piece of pinball history. Willimas seemed to be the "first" in several areas...speech, mulit-ball, lane change, flash bulb lighting...great features that are now staples today.
