Tsukkomi Bingo - Hoshimachi Suisei Sakura Miko Shirakami Fubuki Oozora Subaru [hololive / eng sub]

A continuation of sorts to the miComet Pranks series, the Tsukkomi Bingo Project sees FubuMiComet giving a Subaru a very silly fake interview, trying to get reactions out of her.

So there's my take on the Tsukkomi Bingo Project. Originally I wanted to end up with something closer to the New Year (ReGLOSS) prank segments, so 5-10 minutes tops, but I kept running into parts without which the rest didn't make sense, so it expanded to a still fairly reasonable (all things considered) 18 minutes long. I already feel like I made some fairly aggressive cuts, but I'm sure I could have chopped even more. I'm just not very good at making short videos I'm afraid!

I'm also still not sure how good my ear is when it comes to picking up multiple overlapping voices. The other pranks had Japanese subs, which made it easier when I wasn't sure what was being said, but I didn't have that this time, so there's a good chance I either misheard bits and pieces, or misinterpreted details. So while I'm fairly confident the translation captures the broad strokes of the conversation happening, it probably occasionally paraphrases or embellishes this or that. Feel free to point out whatever I might have missed in the comments.

I was also worried that the nature of the stream would make for a fairly unsatisfying condensed version, since a lot of it seemed to hinge on the viewer being on the edge of their seat wondering "will she? won't she?" as to whether Subaru would retort, and if so, if she'd use the right tsukkomi... In the end I think there were enough individually funny tidbits that the result is satisfying even if it's a bit of a different experience. As always, you're more than welcome to disagree!

A few notes, I'm not a One Piece expert. Not by a long shot. I researched what I could to try not to sound like an idiot with stuff like Chopper's line, and dug out the VIZ Media English version of the manga to show the panels that are being quoted, but it's entirely possible I missed something obvious. So I apologize to all avid readers/watchers if I've made any sort of faux pas. By all means, let me know in the comments if so. The translation for the panels, by the way, isn't the one from the manga. I figured I'd keep the text to a minimum, so I went for shorter lines there. Even without knowing much about One Piece, I do know that the "rock paper scissors" Shanks segment has been memed to death in Japan, which is likely why Suichan wanted Fubuki to try to bring it up.

I didn't know how explicit I needed to be about the School Days conclusion... It's technically a pregnancy test she performs, so I think I'm in the clear. If you don't know, School Days is infamous for an anime adaptation that went for the most messed up route of an already fairly messed up galge universe (look up "School Days family tree", let's just say the British royal family isn't the only inbred one). I wouldn't go so far as to say I recommend watching it, but it can be fun (I believe IRyS and Kronii had a watchalong, and so did Fuwamoco).
