1997 Mazda Miata MX5 (NA) Review, Walkaround, In-Depth Tour, and Test Drive

As cliche as it is, the Mazda Miata MX5, or also called the Eunos Roadster is the definitive proof that you do not need a lot of speed to have fun. Being a proper sports car with a folding cloth, a 5 speed manual, and a tiny 1.6L I4 engine, you can drive this car all around, or maybe even daily it while still putting a really huge smile on your face, and a lot of wind through your hair.

What we're testing out here today, is an extremely preserved late model 1st generation NA Miata just 12,000 kilometers on the clock. It features the iconic and very 90s pop-up headlights, a 5 speed short throw manual, and loads of fun. Should you find that the soft top is a bit too unfriendly for Manila roads and climate, a removable body colored hard top is also available to be fitted at any point in time.
