Finally today a show that was for the whole family Kick Start. The final of series 8 aired on this day (04/09) in 1986 on BBC1. Motorcyclists would cross beams, jump over obstacles and various other hazards in the trials game show - presented by Peter Purves for most of the run. The main show began in 1979, with a junior version starting the following year too. Here are the opening credits and a small taster from 1986. The final episode aired in 1992. Great show!
