The two Jose Rizal-class frigates of the Philippine Navy, BRP Jose Rizal and BRP Antonio Luna were commissioned in 2020 and 2021 respectively. And now they are the iron fist of the Philippine Navy with a powerful enough weapon configuration to protect this country's waters. Frigates made by South Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries based on the shipbuilder's HDF-2600 design, acquired under the Horizon 1 phase of the Revised AFP Modernization Program.
