Panchakki is a watermill in Aurangabad which shows the scientific thought process of the medieval Indian architecture. It is a tourist attraction located close to Bibi ka maqbara, distance only 2 kms away. It has a water reservoir with lots of fishes. A small water fall , a mosque and a minister's house are located in this complex.

DAY 1: We had started early in the morning from Pune at 6 am and had reached aurangabad in almost 4 hours. We travelled in the month of october so we had a very pleasant weather and a smooth journey with splashes of drizzle now and then. The road is very smooth and we enjoyed beautiful velvetty green landscape amidst the clouds and the drizzle. After reaching aurangabad we had lunch , rested for some another 2 hours and then we set off to see the major attractions. We visited in this order

2. Panchakki,
By the time we came out of Panchakki, it started raining heavily and we couldn't go for further sight seeing. Since we also had kids with us our mobility was little restricted and pace slow. I believe if one has limited time one Panchakki isn't worth the time. There is nothing watching there and that time can be utilized for seeing other attractions in the city. With this our Day 1 came to an end.
DAY2: We headed for the mighty Ellora caves around 9 am after bath and breakfast. After spending almost 2 hours there, we headed for Jyotirling Greeshneshwar which is hardly 3 kms away from the site of Ellora,photography is not allowed there.

We started for our back to Pune trip after this while making stopovers at beautiful natural sights wherever we could . We reached home by 8 o clock.
