How "RED" Changed Taylor Swift's Career

Today, we’re going to be talking about Taylor Swift’s fourth studio album, "RED", and how this record was the one to ultimately lay the groundwork for the record breaking 1989.

Many rightfully so, assume "1989" is where Taylor’s country career spun a 180, however, without "RED", the transition into "1989" likely would have been much more difficult.

"RED" is a record that interlaced a stronger influence of pop, began to shed Taylor Swift’s sweetheart image, and allowed her to showcase a version of herself that arguably, won’t be seen again.
