Predicting Environmental Effects on Structures at the Sea-surface for Enhanced Decision Making

Estimates of how structures at the ocean surface will respond to environmental effects influences decision making throughout the project lifecycle - from installation, to day-to-day operations, to extreme cyclonic events, and finally to decommissioning.

This theme will enable enhanced decision making throughout the project lifecycle by using field data and state-of-the-art hydrodynamic modelling to predict critical motions and responses. Utility will be improved through rigorous inclusion of the model uncertainty.
