To enable and use floating keyboard while in portrait view on Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, do the following steps:
- Go to the settings menu.
- Tap "General management".
- Tap "Samsung keyboard settings".
- Under Style and layout section, tap "Mode".
- Under Portrait view section, tap "Floating keyboard".

When you use this setting, when you open an app where you can type with your keyboard and you hold your phone in portrait view, your phone will automatically use floating keyboard. If needed, you can change the keyboard position by dragging the bottom side of the keyboard and then move it to the required position.
