Pune DAGDUSHETH HALWAI Mandir | Most famous Ganesh Temple in India | Dagdusheth Ganpati Story

This is the only temple of Lord Ganesha in India named after his devotee #DagduSheth who was Halwai by profession. This temple was built in the year 1893. During the independence struggle, Bal Gangadhar Tilak converted the traditional Ganesh Mahotsava into a social event and this temple came into focus.

Fortunately, I have been to this place several, I go, times and belive me every time I find lot of tranquility at this pious place.

This famous temple in situated at Budhwar Peth in the heart of the city of Pune.
