Finally assembled what I think is a pretty effective system for pulling out and using vehicles. Still a lot of things to work out, but figuring out how to export the collections of primitives I call vehicles to .obj files so that they can be opened and edited in Blender was a pretty big move. Now I don't have to rebuild them in Blender to get meshes and can maybe even possibly improve the models. Maybe none of that makes sense to you. Let's talk about something else.

So I've got an idea. I want to put this together as, at the least, a demo of vehicle and movement systems designed specifically for VR. It might not have a lot of gamified stuff going on, but its main focus will be roaming around and just sort of enjoying the cruise while testing out these funky prototypes. I'm going to call it Rambler. What do you think?

Update: I just found out about Unity's very own FBX exporter available in the preview packages! Haven't actually tried it yet, just got very excited and decided to write about it here. Check it out in a Unity Package Manager near you!
