Before I transitioned to 2000AD, Simon Furman and the team at Marvel entertained me on a regular weekly basis with our favourite robots in disguise. I don't hugely follow the franchise these days, but I do have an Optimus Prime on my wall so draw your own conclusions! I also loved Geoff Senior's artwork and grabbed this random issue to show you because I immediately knew what was in it but was curious to go back and see what was in a typical issue those days as mine have long since disappeared...
