Solo Bikepacking in the UK || Yorkshire Dales Two-Day Circular Route

As luck would have it a free weekend for an overnighter coincided with a perfect end of May weather forecast. That really doesn't happen too often!

Setting off from Horton-in-Ribblesdale, my not very well-planned route meandered and back tracked a bit before reaching Ribblehead Viaduct. From there I skirted around Blea Moor and Great Knoutberry, enjoying some of the best views in the Dales, before heading into Wenslydale and the bustling town of Hawes.

The route back went up Dodd Fell (a beast of a climb on a fully loaded bike!) and finished with sweeping vistas of the Yorkshire 3 Peaks and amazing gravel roads back down into Horton.
