So... I tried using IG’s Edits app for the first time while hiking. That experiment didn’t last long, as I switched back to my trusty camera app. Consider this your warning. 😅

But here's what I did capture:

A question that's been eating at me for months… no, wait… years questioning something.

But finally… with a platform (and the “legitimacy” as President of AMA Atlanta) AND the reputation I’ve built as a champion for the creative community… in the city that raised & shaped me… I finally feel like it is time to release the Kraken.

You see, Georgia has nine (9) creative sectors.
(Well, I think that’s the number. It’s a bit vague, which I think leads to the lack of exposure.)

Film & TV
Music & Sound Recording
Digital Entertainment & Gaming
Museums & Libraries
Performing Arts

(And a few others that people can help me identify, if they see this.)

But there’s ONE sector that doesn’t seem to get a whole lot of press.

And yes... Marketing & Advertising is a critical sector in the greater creative industry… and honestly, for ALL industries.

Nine sectors. (more or less)
Billions in economic impact.
World-class infrastructure and talent.

So why aren't we connecting these sectors and collaborating like we could be?

I've spent the better part of this decade watching these sectors operate in silos, each doing incredible work, but rarely connecting the dots. (Well, at least I haven’t seen it. Have you?)

And I keep coming back to this: What if we actually acted like the creative powerhouse we already are?
