For Dhokla Batter

Semolina (Rava/Sooji) – 1 cup

Curd – 1 cup

Water – ¾ cup

Salt – to taste

Oil – 2 tsp

Fruit salt (Eno) – 1 tsp (divided into 2 halves) or Baking soda – ½ tsp (divided)

Extra water – 4 tsp (divided)

For Green Chutney

Coriander leaves – a handful

Ginger – 1 small piece

Green chilli – 1 (adjust to taste)

Roasted peanuts – 2 tbsp

Cumin seeds – ½ tsp

Lemon juice – 1 tsp

Salt – to taste

Sugar – ½ tsp

Curd – 2 tbsp

Water – as required

For Tempering (Tadka)

Oil – 2 tbsp

Mustard seeds – ½ tsp

Urad dal – 1 tsp

Green chilli – 1, slit

Curry leaves – 6-8

Asafoetida (Hing) – a pinch

Red chilli powder for garnishing
