• Motor: starting with the Motor: iMAX 36V brushless rear electric - 250W DC motor - DC motors typically have a totally-enclosed construction. They have a straight speed-torque curve, with high starting torque and low no-load speeds
• Battery: A 36v/10.4AH lithium from Samsung which should last up to 50Kms on a single charge. Remember body weight, hills and headwinds will determine your particular range. There’s a lighting display on the side of the battery which gives you a guide of how charged up you are. Charge Time: Approx. 5 - 6 hours costing 20cents per full charge. The spec sheet tells us that the Run Time: Low = 3 hrs, Med = 2.5hrs, High = 2hrs,
• Carrier: The rear ‘carrier’ supports the battery (locked with a key) and rails each side support panniers or ‘saddle bags’. – good to see – you’d be amazed at how many e-bike brand and models miss this.
• Rack: Sturdy battery rack, with elastic for light-luggage.
• Display Panel: LED panel displays battery indicator and level of assist you are on. Quite basic and standard.
• Frame: Alloy frame with internal cable routing.
• Kickstand: middle kickstand which would be better placed further back, so it does not interfere with your crank pedal.
• Saddle: Dual Sport comfort seat with adjustable seat-post
• Fork: front forks are rigid
• Handlebars: are part of the cockpit and are standard and easy to use
• Gears: Rear Cog: Shimano Mega range 7-speed 14-34T, Rear Derailleur: Shimano Tourney TY-300, Shifters: Shimano Revo shift.
• Brakes: Alloy V-brakes both front and back.
• Lights: There are no front and back lights with this model, only reflectors front and back.
• Security / Locking System: There is no integrated C-lock for in-built security (locks the rear wheel).
