#packyourbag Journey to the center of the Earth and go inside the volcano! Þríhnúkagígur (or Thríhnúkagígur) is a dormant volcano that erupted over 40,000 years ago during the Ice Age. It is one of the only volcanos in the world you can enter and hike inside. We're taking you with us!

Enjoy the 3 km hike to base camp, gear up and head to the top of the crater to be lowered in a converted window washing elevator to the lava chamber 400 feet below. Amazing views and a once in a lifetime experience!
