For the 1988 Vancouver CBC TV's THEN & NOW series, Terry David Mulligan talks with Pia Shandel Southam, and Lynne McNamara interviews Tom Northcott. Following years as an actress in theatre and films, including "Shadow of the Hawk," producer / director Daryl Duke chose Pia to co-host his station CKVU's "The Vancouver Show" during which time she interviewed Terry Fox. Tom Northcott is probably best known as a folk/rock performer on CBC Vancouver's pop music series "Let's Go," and achieved success with "Sunny Goodge Street" and "Girl from the North Country." He gave up performing, co-founded Mushroom recording studio in '69, bought a fishing trawler and went commercial fishing, and in '73 started practicing law. For more st40tv items, see:
