Hey chaps, here's a live session of my most recent song Diamonds in the Rough, shot and edited by Eric Felton! as always a like & share is a massive help and I'd love to hear what you think!

I wrote this song whilst volunteering in Holland, Au pairing for a family who ran an organisation called Inspiratie. Their charity was all about helping with the complex and diverse issues, caused by international migration, by solving problems in a creative way in order to increase the possibilities for everyone.

I was fortunate enough to see and hear first hand some of the struggles that these people had been through and are going through. Once a Friday every week, there was a center hired out for a big group of children ranging from 4 to about 14. Throughout the session we would have activity's planned out for the children, whether that would be sitting with one another eating fruit, creating art, playing music and singing or just generally being kids and playing with each other. It was at these sessions i really learned a lot from these children, to see how happy they were and how much love was in the room. It was an inspiration to think how hard times had been for a lot of these children and their family's but to still see the LOVE and JOY in their beautiful faces overpowering the negatives. It put things into perspective for me, i can see how lucky a lot of us really are and i feel so appreciative and grateful for this experience. I urge everyone if they can, to give a helping hand to those in need. To open your heart to the struggles faced by others and not judge these diamonds in the rough, but allow them to shine through and flourish.
