Following on from Baby Cool’s performance of their intimate performance of ‘Altar’, we caught up to explore how they blend the sonic and visual worlds, the creative process, and their debut album.

About Baby Cool

Based out of New South Wales, Australia, Baby Cool marries psychedelia with folk and a touch of country and is the latest side project by Nice Biscuit co-front woman, Grace Cuell.

“The songs are deeply sentimental. I have a lot I need to sing about to help me make sense of this earthly pod I have been gifted. If in singing these words out loud, I can help others find solace in knowing that we’re all out here flailing about in the cosmos, then it feels good to me.” says Grace.

Earlier this year, Baby Cool hit the road with the Babe Rainbow, performing on the renowned stages of the Princess Theatre, Brisbane, and the Metro Theatre, Sydney. With Baby Cool’s live band composed of members from Nice Biscuit, The Flamingo Jones, and Cigarny Weaver, it is no surprise these shows were met with rave reviews.

Baby Cool released 'Earthling on the Road to Self Love' via Greenway Records/Levitation (US), Bad Vibes/Fuzz Club (UK), and Virgin Music (Australia).
