The Central Cemetery is the largest cemetery in Brno. It is located in the cadastral area of Štýřice near Vídeňská Street, in the southernmost area of the Brno-Central district. On the north-western edge of the cemetery is the building of the local crematorium, while on the eastern side of the central part is a memorial to Soviet and other foreign soldiers who died during the liberation of Brno at the end of World War II. The care of the cemetery is provided by the Brno Cemetery Administration.
