How To Make A Bespoke Oak Stair Gate!

Do you have a dog that you can’t keep downstairs? Well a stair gate is your perfect answer! In this video I was asked to make an oak dog stair gate. The difficulty with this build was it had to fit perfectly in their stair case without any mechanical fixings (my clients didn’t want any screw holes to be visible when the gate is removed, so it has to be a friction fit and wrap around the stair posts). The gate is made from English oak to match the stair case and has matching banisters.
