Get Up and Go Routine: Conservation of Energy Intervention

Описание к видео Get Up and Go Routine: Conservation of Energy Intervention

Trouble with motivation is common obstacle. Most associated with Avolition, it can create a fertile ground for worry, voice hearing, lower self-confidence and sleep problems. The belief, "I can't do anything until I have the energy," is one driver of low motivation. The Get up and Go Routine is a great intervention to target this symptom and correct these beliefs.

Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R) is an extension of the important work of CBT for psychosis (CBTp) to individuals who have struggled to gain benefit from that approach. CT-R privileges the negative symptoms of schizophrenia, problems with connection and motivation. It uses Aaron T. Beck’s cognitive model.
