1902 Steffey motor (made in Philadelphia) attached to New Mail bicycle ( made in Boston). Note the wooden rims, cork grips, leather and wicker saddle and belt drive system. Total loss battery ignition, crude fuel mixer (carburetor) and NY Standard Watch odometer.

Very rare machines that any serious collector would love to have. The last two Steffeys sold were for $35,000 on Bring A Trailer in 2021, and $38,500 at the 2021 Mecum Vegas auction. This one is for sale for a lot less. Asking $25,000.
