The Ultimate Rogue Build Guide for Pillars of Eternity in 2023

Today we're diving into the ultimate rogue build guide for Pillars of Eternity 2023. In today's PoE tutorial, I take you through character creation of your rogue, how to set up your stats and attributes, which abilities make the best overall rogue, and then walk you through the leveling process from level 2 to level 12 so you can see what a maxed out rogue in Pillars of Eternity looks like.

I like to play my rogues in CRPGs with a heavy hand on the mechanics/traps/locks side of things, with a side of backstab and melee weapons. As such, my rogues are typically very hands on, and that's no different here in Pillars of Eternity. This rogue build guide is for a mechanics-primary, dps-secondary character that requires a lot of hands-on manipulation; you will not be able to let this one simply autoattack his way through the game unless you are on easy mode.
