Photo Camera Guide and Changes | Phasmophobia

Описание к видео Photo Camera Guide and Changes | Phasmophobia

This past week had a small update to Phasmophobia. While most of that update was removing the Christmas decorations (the lobby games stayed - hurray!) there was a small-ish update for the Photo Camera. While this probably helps us in the long run, I can see how some of these changes will still have issues. As you can see in my video, I took a photo of dirty water but it counted it as an interactions. Why? Well... because in the priority system, dirty water is way down at the bottom and technically, the ghost interacted with the sink. So until the interaction "expires" I won't be getting a photo of the dirty water. Although taking a photo of the interaction would likely then cause it to take a photo of the dirty water.

Either way, for those of you who have spent the many months trying to figure out why sometimes you get a lot of photo money and sometimes you don't, I explain all of that in this video. It requires a bit of math or if you're like me, just knowing that three stars always pays more and that certain things are worth way more money than others. Ghosts with fingerprint evidence are still gold mines! Well... ghost hunting dollar mines...

Hopefully this video helps you understand how Photo Evidence works in Phasmophobia. I'll admit that prior to making this video, I was unaware that any photos outside of the 10 shown in the journal would not earn you photo money. I was so uncertain that this was true, that I actually went into a house, snapped photos of the carpet at the door till the journal was full, and then proceeded to take photos of the cursed possession, the ghost, the bone, fingerprints and an interaction. And to my surprise... I didn't get any photo money at the end of my hunt! So what is that third camera for? Well... I'd guess it's more of a safety net just in case you fail to get a photo of the ghost in the first 10 and possibly so players who want a camera can take one. I can see how that would be handy on large locations like the Asylum (which by the way, may be getting smaller this year).
