I've never seen a change quite this big in my life
When everything is shutdown and that social distance
Is gonna keep me here a while
As I eat mac and cheese again; I think about my friends
And what they're doing tonight
There's no kids in the streets and the news on T.V.
Says stay inside; nationwide
And wait for the end patiently
These masks they hide their smiles in empty shopping aisles
It's been this way for weeks
The main character died on my favourite show
Don't know if I can do this much more
That's why you all have to know

They're asking me to stay away
Do your best and try to stay out of trouble
If you wanna make the world a better place
Just wash your hands and don't touch your face

Re-washing all my clothes; trying not to pick my nose
But boredom still sets in
I'm scrolling through; Facebook's got something new
Someone's live and here am I
I'm blindly watching in the nude
We're bingeing Netflix now and living on the couch
Growing hair on my face
The bottles of wine they are running out
I'm running the risk of gout
That's why I just have to shout
