Team Garmin-Sharp's Director of Sports Science, Robby Ketchell speaks to GCN about how the correct aero position on your bike can make all the difference. Small changes in body position - getting your head lower and lowering the hip angle, steamlining the flow around the body can make a difference of 1-2 mph, a significant amount for a pro rider.

Garmin-Sharp worked with Ryder Hesjedal on his aero position over the course of many months to evolve his time trial position, and this new more aero TT position helped him win the 2012 Giro d'Italia on the time trial - the final day of racing.
