This livestream is about context loss… how history, culture, and power dynamics get flattened until people start arguing past each other instead of understanding what’s actually happening.

We start with hip-hop, breaking down how rap beef used to function as competition and performance, how that context got lost over time, and why proximity, social media, and audience misinterpretation have made things more dangerous than they were in earlier eras.

From there, we zoom out to diaspora conflict and imperialism… why Black people across the diaspora often clash despite shared identity, how different colonial timelines shape consciousness, and why arguments around ADOS/FBA, respectability politics, and “choice vs. constraint” keep looping without resolution. This isn’t about denying history or lineage. It’s about standards of evidence, material conditions, and how imperialism fractures experience.

The middle of the stream dives deep into Character Issues: Mojo from Marvel Comics. Mojo isn’t just a gross villain. He’s a system… an early, terrifyingly accurate critique of the attention economy, audience complicity, and what happens when suffering becomes content. Dates, comic issues, themes, and why Mojo hits harder now than he did in the 1980s.

We also take a step back to interrogate bad metaphors, specifically why the Professor X vs. Magneto analogy fails, how it sanitizes real history, and why flattening liberation movements into personality binaries is intellectually lazy.

Finally, we lighten the tone a bit with a geek-out segment on one of my favorite comic book movie villains… Bane from The Dark Knight Rises. Flawed movie, still one of the most interesting ideological villains in the genre, and a great example of how villains expose the myths heroes rely on.

This isn’t a debate stream.
It’s a thinking stream.
