Fun Facts About Wood Rats | A New Way to Museum

Wood rats or pack rats are any species in the North and Central American rodent genus Neotoma. In order to build their nests, wood rats will collect everything in the surrounding area of their home, including man made objects. Due to their excellent collecting skills, paleontologist and archaeologist have uncovered wood rat homes which has held significant information.
