ダウンタウンのごっつええ感じ AFRICA (english sub)

I love the Japanese comedy duo Downtown. Luckily there's an editor team out there that subs a lot of Downtown's sketches, they call themselves 'Team Gaki' (google it). Since I always watch their subbed content I decided to try it myself with a video that I'm certain (at least I couldn't find a subbed version) they didn't sub and the result is what you see above. I gotta say catching some of the Osaka Dialect the comedians speak is hella difficult, I had to rewatch several times and google often to get what they said. Getting the dialog together took me about 1-2 hours (incl. translation), the subbing then took about 10 hours.

I must say: ALL RESPECT TO TEAM GAKI FOR DOING THEIR WORK! It is so time consuming and you really gotta have nerves of steel, especially if thousands of people are waiting for your subs! This is certainly now the case where Downtown put out their annual "No Laughter Batsu Game!" which is about 5 hours (!!) long. This takes even longer to sub, because they go so far as to sub the edits in the original video (Japanese TV typically has a lot of subtitles) to deliver real quality content. Bravo!

The hardcoding part at the end was a pain in the ass, VLC did a whack job doing so and hence the subs are a little too much to the left, I apologise for that. I could've just downloaded some tool, but I wanted to get it over with already.

I made a mistake at 3:23.
The correct translation would be "I'm hunting a serow and... you know, I'm kinda short on ammunition."
But it shouldn't make too much of a difference.
