Baking 101: Eggless chocolate muffins🍫

In this series, I’ll share many little tips which I’ve learnt in my journey of 9 years. I’ll talk about the things which did not work for me, and which ones did. If you’re someone who wants to start baking in 2026- this series is for you✨

Ingredients-

• Yogurt- 90 gm (1/4 cup + 2 tbsp)
• ⁠Castor sugar- 85 gm (1/4 cup + 3.5 tbsp)
• ⁠Oil- 50 mL (1/4 cup)
• ⁠All purpose flour- 75 gm (1/2 cup)
• ⁠Cocoa powder- 15 gm (3 tbsp)
• ⁠Baking soda- 1/2 tsp
• ⁠Baking powder- 1/4 tsp
• ⁠Salt- 1/4 tsp
• ⁠Milk- 30 mL (1/8 cup)
• ⁠Coffee powder- 1 tsp
• ⁠Chocochips- I used dark chocochips from select aisle (brand name)

Method-

• In a bowl, take yogurt and add castor or powdered sugar. Mix until the sugar dissolves. Next, add in oil and mix well.
• ⁠Next, add in milk and coffee powder. Mix to make a smooth mixture.
• ⁠Now add in- all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
• ⁠Mix to make a batter.
• Transfer this batter to muffins liners. Make sure to only fill 3/4 of the space. Top with chocochips.
• ⁠Preheat your oven at 170 degrees for 7-8 minutes.
• ⁠After preheating, bake for 17-19 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
