In a new era of coalition politics, South Africa’s Government of National Unity (GNU) could mark a turning point in the country’s international relations. Against this backdrop, the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) is convening a panel discussion to explore pathways for the constructive evolution of South Africa’s international relations. The focus will be on how the levers of foreign policy making may change, and the broader geopolitical environment in which these changes will occur.
