We’re thrilled to bring the 80’s smash hit musical, FOOTLOOSE to the Engadine stage in October 2025.

Engadine sits about 33km south of the Sydney CBD, in the Sutherland Shire, on Dharawal land.

Based on the classic 1984 movie starring Kevin Bacon… this electrifying musical tells the story of Ren, a city kid forced to move to the small buttoned-up town of Bomont, where dancing is banned! Determined as the one kid in town who just can’t stand still, he teams up with new friends to challenge the town’s outdated rules. Footloose is a feel-good ride about fighting for what you love and dancing like nobody’s watching!

The Oscar and Tony-nominated Top 40 score features epic 80’s bangers including "Holding out for a Hero", "Almost Paradise", “Let’s Hear it for the Boy” and of course, "Footloose".

Footloose is being performed at Engadine Community Centre, Old Princes Hwy, Engadine.
