Shell Kell Hid at Friend's Apartment When Shootout Occurred: YSL Officer

An officer returned to the stand on Thursday to testify more about a shootout that happened at an apartment complex on January 28, 2015. The officer said he remembered talking to a woman, who originally did not want to testify on camera in court, after the incident occurred. The officer recalled the woman stating that Shell Kell, who she was dating at the time, was hiding at her place.

Young Thug faces nearly a dozen charges, including possession of drugs and weapons, participation in criminal street gang activity, and conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. The rapper was arrested in May of 2022 along with 27 other alleged gang members. Many of those defendants have taken plea deals in the case.
