I'm pleased to share that the hands-on Azure Machine Learning workshop I hosted on October 29, 2023 was a great success. We had 24 engaged students attend the full 1+ hour virtual session on Microsoft Teams.

In this beginner-friendly introduction, we covered key machine learning concepts, real-world applications, and walked through an end-to-end demo project in Azure ML studio. Students gained practical experience with the ML lifecycle.

The presentation included relatable explanations and analogies that resonated with attendees. My mentor Muhammad Qasim from Pakistan provided excellent support in answering student questions during the detailed discussions.

While we ran out of time to show model testing results, the focus on ML foundations and Azure ML studio experience seemed to resonate. Based on enthusiastic feedback, students appreciated learning through an applied example vs. just theory.

In surveys, 100% of respondents said they have a better understanding of ML fundamentals after attending. Many praised the presentations and expressed interest in joining future sessions.

Additionally, 53 students signed up for my upcoming AZ-900 study group after learning about Microsoft Learn resources. I shared the $100 Azure credit offer that many plan to utilize.

Overall, the workshop helped inspire students to continue exploring machine learning and cloud technologies. I'm excited to build on this experience to deliver more high-value technical training and enable adoption of Azure services.
