For Unlocked Bootloader devices:
Only follow if your device is encrypted, If its decrypted you will lose data.
Download the ROM and install through recovery after wiping cache, dalvik cache and system partition (if stock recovery, no need to wipe).

For Device with custom ROM installed:
Only follow if your device is encrypted, If its decrypted you will lose data.
Download the ROM and install through recovery after wiping cache, dalvik cache, and system partition.

NB: For the above guides, make sure you have a backup of internal storage as some users mentioned data loss.
