Everyone understands that there is evil in our world, but what or WHO is behind that evil? God exposes the who in Isaiah 14—namely, Satan. Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 are two of the most descriptive passages about Satan in the Bible. Why do we need to understand his background, his tactics, and his ultimate demise? Because he is “on the prowl” to attack us, discourage us, deceive us, and tempt us. However, God outlines in Scripture how we can take our stand against the devil.
