Endurium DEMO - VrFest 2022

In this video i only played everything the demo has to show us, 3 worlds with 4 different levels each.

No editing just me trying out the game

Wands an knuckles Working.

You have a lightsaber/lasersword/energystick on each hand, enemies show at the distance and start shooting beams that you have to deal with to survive.
Same old mechanics right? wrong, it adds different enemy attacks, so there is the regular beam that you cut to break, the strong beam that requires 2hits to break, the unbreakeable beam you have to avoid by crouching or moving to the side (you can hit and move it a bit to ease the dodge), or a powerful beam that you need to break by hitting it with charged weapons (trigger while swinging)

Also there are rapid shots, and a bot that comes and swordfights you.

Each time you "absorb" a special attack, your special energy bar fills, when it fills enough you can throw one of you weapons to hit the enemy drones, you aim by looking at the enemy you want to hit then press trigger, swing the weapon towards the enemy and release trigger, works pretty well and in the hecticness of the game feels exciting to hit.

Levels are completed by eliminating X amount of enemies in each level.

Adding to this, you can choose the environment in which you fight, there are a bunch of them to choose from, and while nice, makes you notice that it doesnt matter where you are fighting. I liked most of the environments, but felt they should add to the level in some way.

Overall demo Score 7/10 Feels polished where it should, The demo gave me like 45min of honest entertainment, at first i dreaded playing through the whole thing, by the end i was having fun playing it and feeling accomplished when i ended a level quickly.
