2011 X3 with 120,000 miles. I was getting front tire wear on the far inside and outsides of the front tires.
I’d say the cause was the larger forward control arm bushings where they attach to the subframe. For good measure I replaced all four ball joints, lower control arms, sway bar end links and tie rods.
I was able to do all the work without removing either rotor or driveshaft. I used a 12” 1/2 drive extension to get sockets onto the four ball joints and the joint for the putter tie rods you can get from below without an extension.
