ICNG-B (Eurocity Direct) test ride arrives and departs from Antwerp Central Station

The Intercity New Generation or also called the ICNG is the newest train of the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS). This train can go as fast as 200 km/h! The tests for this train in The Netherlands started in 2020 and passengers were able to use this train as of April 19 2023.
Routes that this train operates on:
IC Direct: Breda - Rotterdam - Amsterdam
IC: Eindhoven - Breda - Rotterdam - The Hague
They are now running tests for this train between Lelystad and Brussels via Almere, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp. Apparently you can ride this train now on this route if you get invited, but I don't know how. On this route ICNG-B trains run (the type that can operate in Belgium). From the 15th of December 2024 this train will become commercial. The IC-train that now runs between Brussels and Amsterdam will be shortened to Rotterdam and it will be called the Eurocity. There will also be a new route called the Eurocity Direct which will run between Brussels and Lelystad via Amsterdam South.

Antwerp Central Station is one of the most beautiful train stations in the world. You can travel to many Belgian cities like Liège, Brussels, Ghent, Bruges, Ostend..., but you can also travel to international destinations like Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Paris, Berlin and now even Prague.
