What is the difference between code-mixing and code-switching?
What does it mean when our children mix their languages?

Multilinguals are used to code-mix and code-switch, and it is not a sign for poor language proficiency. On the contrary!

In this video I explain the two concepts and share examples about how we can mix our languages and how this shows how from very early on, our children acquire complex structures of language.
